We had the great opportunity to get interviewed by the folks at Good Beer Hunting, one of the oldest and widely known beer blogs in the world. We sat down and hashed out some details regarding our passion to bring inclusivity into the brewing industry.

Our beer CHIMERAN AWAKENING won silver at this year's Canada Beer Cup in the brett fermented beer category. The beer wizard Brad has been making this beer since we opened up shop. It was always one of those fucked up dream beers that just sounded strange on paper but tastes amazing in the glass.

We ferment this beer in three white wine barrels. The three heads of our favourite chimera. Each barrel has a unique hand picked pairing of kveik and brett cultures inside that, when blended create an awesome citrus forward light crisp beer with a slight kick of acid on the finish. It's as layered and complex as the processes that go into each batch.

Every 4-6 months we harvest most of the beer from each and then fill them back up with fresh wort from the kettle. And off it goes again in the Solera process. We're stoked to have it on as a strange mainstay that is always evolving, just like us.

A series spurred on by the recent destruction of Ukraine. We jumped on board the fundraising train early 2022 and found ourselves in good company with some other brewers in town who also have Ukrainian roots.

Our first beer of the series was brewed with our friend Mike Prytula and his father Don Prytula from Unleashed brewing here in Kelowna. We brewed up a Kutya inspired beer, a traditional dish made of whole wheat berries, poppy seeds, nuts and honey.

All of the proceeds raised from this and ongoing beers in the campaign go directly to two fundraising campaigns.

• Outreach international Ukraine Emergency Fund, an organization that supports LGBTIQ people in Ukraine.

• Pravda Brewing’s ongoing Brew for Ukraine campaign.
